The Mongolia Bike Challenge is a constantly evolving mountain bike adventure through Mongolia. While starting as a 10 day race, it is now 6 days, using the best but most challenging routes that Race Director Willy Mullonia can find.
Riders will stay in Ger camps, sleeping, eating and living the way of the great khans.
As a remote stage race, riders need to be somewhat self-sufficient. You must be comfortable away from the world of modern conveniences, and happy to adapt to the changing environment, as the weather and terrain will constantly throw up new challenges that are hard to prepare for.
The racing at the front of the race is fast and sharp, further back riders compete for the experience. In 2017 the MBC continues to have a singlespeed category, but also a gravel bike and fat bike category too.
