Less than five months prior to the start of the Craft Bike Transalp powered by Sigma 16th edition, another sponsor has announced to support the mountain bike classic. As of now, Multipower Sportsfood will be part of the stage event’s co-sponsor pool.

“We are proud that Multipower Sportsfood and thus a proven expert on nutrition and fitness will join our supporter team. Especially the participants will benefit from the nutrition and beverage producer,“ says Mathias Ley, CEO of the Hamburg based organising event company Ley Events GmbH.

The new sponsor will not only be present on the big expo area of the event but also will provide the right products on the course of each stage of the Craft BIKE Transalp powered by Sigma.

“We are glad to be part of one of the world’s most respected mountain bike stage races and we are looking forward to foster the racers with our product line because this will lead to a noticeable improvement of their endurance and strength during the eight days lasting exertions,” explained Alexander Schmelz, Director Marketing and Innovation Multipower Sportsfood.

The Craft Bike Transalp powered by Sigma is possibly the most famous stage race for mountain bike teams of two. Ever since its first edition in 1998, the routing leads the participants in eight stages from Germany across the main chain of the Alps to Italy. In 2013, the event takes place for the 16th time (July 13 thru 20).

Racers will master a total distance of more than 650 kilometers peppered with some 21,000 meters in elevation gain.
