Everyone at MarathonMTB.com feels that a mountain bike stage race can be one of the best ways to see a country, or a region, or a specific mountain range. Mountain bikes can take you places. They are a tool for a journey. While that may just be for post work escapism it can also be a journey that lets you experience a new place, and really get under the skin of the region.
Think of Greece and you might think of the Ancient Greeks, holidays on the Greek Islands, great yoghurt, or rich food. You may not automatically associate it with mountain biking.
In 2014, the Greek Odyssey will run from 22-29 June, from alpine ranges to towns in the farmland. There are 8 days of racing to keep you entertained.
