Setting up your mountain bike wheels to run tubeless isn’t a black art – but it will almost certainly improve your riding experience. Some tyre and rim combinations are easy, like any with the UST rating. Others will require some tape, or a specific rim strip. But there aren’t many that won’t work.
This video should help with setup, especially if you are using Stans yellow tape or their rubber rim strips. A compressor helps, or you could always use the homemade compressor as devised by Chris Pedder.

If you don’t have any luck, go see your local bikeshop for help. You might be really close to getting it right, but they might have a trick that makes your setup work a bit better.
