How to clean your mountain bike – in 3 minutes

A clean bike is a happy bike. Or more accurately, a clean bike that has then been dried, lubed and checked for maintenance requirements is a happy bike. If you live in a muddy area, or somewhere with lots of wet sand or grit that just destroys chains, brake pads and cassettes, keeping your bike clean is of utmost importance. But a clean bike is safer too, as it promotes regular inspection of your bike and the parts on it for any premature wear or damage. Catching something early might prevent frustration, or even injury, later on.

Here’s a step by step video to show you how easy it is to get your bike cleaned up after a dirty ride.
