Mogo rewards those who wait

After the heavy rains earlier in the year, a cold and dry winter has made mountain bikers around the country smile – as long as they are able to get out of bed in the dark and cold hours. This Sunday, 20th July, the Finish Line Singletrack Mind Series continues at Mogo on the NSW South Coast. A favourite riding and racing area for many, the South Coast offers countless kilometres of sinewy singletrack – a key ingredient for just about any race put on by the Chocolate Foot race crew.

Being a close drive to Canberra, it’s highly likely Mogo will be over run by fast riders from the nations capital, as well as hordes from Sydney and the Southern Highlands. The new 4hr category has been popular and that trend should continue, as riders and teams chase overall honours in either the 4 or 7 hour categories.

Event sponsors will have brilliant prizes on offer again, but everyone wins a tasty chocolate foot in their race bag. Trails, racing, chocolate – why are you waiting? If you haven’t signed up yet, get on board! Entries close midnight 16th of July. Grab a mate or two and make a team, or just some more food and race solo. Just get out and enjoy the trails and racing on the south coast.
