Does the family want a holiday but you want a bike race? Well, the Lakes Entrance Epic, run by Alpine Gravity may be your salvation. The second edition of the race will descend on the picturesque seaside locale in Gippsland, Victoria on May 2. The weekend is set up to be a prime family vacation. With numerous family orientated activities in the region and also a kid’s race! Three courses are on offer with 25km, 50km and 100km options, taking in the epic surrounds of Lakes Entrance and even venturing into the Colquhoun Mountainbike Park for some epic single track. If the riding on Saturday isn’t enough for you, there is also a trail running event on the Sunday with distances of 7km, 15km and 25km.
Last year was a resounding success with many participants eager for the next edition.
