Last week in Prague Mitas and Adria Bike signed an agreement, as Europe’s largest tyre and tube manufacturer agreed to support the 4 Islands Bike Race in Croatia. After 3 years of existence as “4 Islands” the race will now be named “Mitas 4 Islands”, which also proves a strong commitment from both parties to further strengthen and expand event relevance.

There are many stage races but Croatian “4 Islands” is one of the very few offering unique set-up and experience. And that’s a key factor differentiating the event from others thus making it highly attractive and memorable for riders, visitors, followers and media. The new partners plan on building the pedigree of the race for mountain bike lovers. Hrvoje Šepić, Event Director said: “We couldn’t be more pleased to welcome Mitas as our partner. The increased popularity of the race over the years has been impressive and partnership with Mitas will benefit the event to reach even wider audience.”

Since its inception 3 years ago the race has largely increased number of participants establishing itself on the international racing map. It is held on 4 Croatian islands in 4 consecutive days which makes it very unique in the world of mountain biking. A diverse terrain and trails test participants speed, strength, physical and technical skills, even a character, making them challenge and compete with each other and even with themselves. To be well trained in every way and to be well equipped becomes evenly important in order to accomplish various territories, uphills and downhills provided by the beauties of Kvarner islands.
