2017 route for Perskindol Swiss Epic announced

Swiss Epic 2015

The trails on the way to Leukerbad offer views, demanding technical sections, and wonderous lines through the forests and farmland.

It is almost summer in Europe, and the trails scouts for the Perskindol Swiss Epic have had access to many trails in the warm spring weather. So much of the route has been set, and is ready to be confirmed.

More details on each stage will follow in the coming weeks.  The 2017 Perskindol Swiss Epic also offers the exclusive opportunity to ride considerable parts of the Marathon World Championships route in advance of the 2019 event to take place in Grächen, and to do so in a racing environment – the ultimate practice run!

The terrain is varied, even from one end of the stage to another.

We think the Swiss Epic is the ideal package holiday, and there are race packages to suit almost any budget – from using a camper van through to luxury hotels.

Why should you race the Perskindol Swiss Epic?

This can be summarised into three words: trails, experience, service.

The Perskindol Swiss Epic trumps pretty much every other stage race our team has competed in for all those three areas. The trails in Switzerland are sublime. You won’t be subjected to technical singletrack for every kilometre, instead it mixes ancient trails with new flow trails, bike path with trails only open just for the race, and high alpine singletrack that riders travel the world to ride.

The experience of riding, and racing, that in a pair is beyond compare. You start and finish in established alpine towns with all the services you need – most of them part of the race entry: bike wash, massage, meals, mechanic service, secure bike storage and of course your accommodation. The service at the Swiss Epic beats any other race.
