The KMC-Fruit to Go team will be riding on Ridley mountain bikes for the 2018 season. The switch to the popular Belgian brand Ridley is a logical one according to the team.
‘With our team we do not only race mountain bikes but our riders are also active in beach races, cyclocross and gravel races. This means we are the whole year round competing and visible for our sponsors and partners.’
‘As a team we want to keep playing an active role in product development for current and future off-road disciplines. Together with Ridley we see that new races appear in which the choice of bike is free and that the borders between cyclocross and mountain bike has disappeared. We will share our knowledge not only to develop mountain bikes but also new bikes for all-road use.’, stated team manager Martin Schutt.
The team have already outlined that they will compete in many major mountain bike races in the European summer, including Transalp.
