Felt Alpine Assault, January 16th 2011

The Felt Alpine Assault was originally scheduled for the 12th December 2010, however severe weather conditions prevented the event from running. Heavy rain and flooding across the South East of Australia caused havoc with transportation and property in a range of areas. Many of the trails to be used were in quite rideable condition, however getting support and emergency vehicles in was not possible.

Finishline Events were able to set a new date – January 16th – for the event. Thankfully, this allows racers another chance to test themselves on the gruelling course in the Victorian High Country. Also, entries are still available, so riders can enter via the website.

If you can make it down, don’t miss this opporunity to race a well supported Marathon in the Alpine National Park.
