Stage 7 has been completed, and racers are relaxing with their picnic packs, friends and family in Lourensford.
Far from being a roll into town, the last stage was hard fought, with the Fluckiger brothers (Trek World Racing) attacking hard and taking the stage win. An early flat for the 36One-Songo-Specialized team of Sauser and Stander could have proved problematic, as the pace was on! They fixed it, and cross the line in 5th.
So far, it seems there were no real shake ups on the leaders jerseys. Stay tuned for a full report.
