Riders have until midnight on Wednesday to sign up for the third round of the SRAM Singletrack Mind series that takes place in Canberra this Sunday, June 26.
Competitors in the 7-hour enduro will race on the Stromlo Forest Park, the same used for the 2009 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships and 2010 24-hour World Championships.
The proposed course for the event has been posted online and can be viewed here. Entries are open to teams of two and three, in male, female or mixed categories. In addition, juniors will be have the opportunity to race in teams of three or four.
Entries range from AU$75 for a junior team of three to AU$165 for open teams of three, so grab the kids or your teammates and make your way to Canberra for a weekend of racing action.
The course will be open for scheduled practice on Saturday.
Although the third round in the series, the race will be the second held this year after inclement weather forced the cancellation of the first round. With good conditions predicted for Canberra this weekend, the Stromlo round looks set to offer the same action packed racing and professional race setup that was experienced in Nowra last month.
The SRAM Singletrack Mind series is presented by Chocolate Foot and will be hosted by Canberra Off-Road Cyclists.
