ENVE composites have launched a new range of carbon fibre handlebars, from wide and flat handlebars to a high rise downhill specific handlebar.
All items use unidirectional carbon fibre construction, have 31.8mm clamps and are pre-marked for cutting. Which is good, as out of the box the flat and low rise bar are 760mm!
The SWP flat model has no rise, is 760mm wide with 9 degrees sweep and 5 degrees ‘tip’, how much it cants up. Weight is claimed to be 178g.

Low rise handlebars are coming back into vogue, and ENVE have the low rise RSR model, which shares the same 760mm width of the SWP, and the 9 degree sweep and 5 degree ’tilt’ – but also carries a 23mm rise. The weight is claimed at 194g.

The handlebars have vibration damping and have been rider tuned – so that each bar suits what it has been designed for. ENVE used extensive feedback from their sponsored riders.
