On the back of confirming that the 2015 Crocodile Trophy will have equal prize money for men and women, the race organisers have also announced that their other event, The Alpentour Trophy, another UCI S1 race, will have equal prize money paid to women and men in elite classifications.
More than three hundred participants from 26 different nations have already registered for the four day stage race based in Schladming, Austria.
Beside the winner from last year Leonardo Paez from Columbia and the second placed Italian Tony Longo the Austrian Alban Lakta will return to Schladming after a one year break with his team.
Even though start and finish will be the same at all stages, there will be new exciting sections added to the courses. To maintain the tight racing until the last stage, the individual time trial will be held on the last day.
