New for 2019, the Appenninica MTB Stage race set out to not be the biggest, hardest, most technical… but an immersive race away from Italy’s tourist hotspots. Traversing the Emilia Romagna region, the race would visit spa towns, travel through chestnut forests, past medieval fortifications and more.
