Andalucia Bike Race releases the 2020 route

The Andalucía Bike Race has announced its 2020 route for the race held from February 25 to March 1, beginning with a time trial with five marathon stages following. In 2020 the race has moved back to February and has a Hors Catégorie (SHC) classification from the UCI. The 2020 route will offer a variety of terrains in its four locations that will race: Jaén, Andújar, Priego de Córdoba and Córdoba.

This tenth edition will have a very varied route with 364 kilometers and 11.400 meters of climbing, revealing the beauty of Andalusian landscapes and the provinces of Jaén and Córdoba with a complete route for all riders passing through Natural Parks.

“The stages will be hard and technical, but in each of them we will find all the ingredients to be epic and incredible: bearing stretches, technical climbs and downhill trails to end with a smile.” Promised the race organisers.

“Also, we will find sections that haven’t been raced for a long time, unprecedented stretches with other mythical ones with compensated stages in terms of hardness and technical prevailing the incredible views that will do wonders to all bikers with 360 degree panoramic views in all of the race venues.”

It all sounds pretty promising – just make sure you remember to look up! The full course details for each stage can be found on the race website.
