The Sellaronda Hero has quickly become one of the most popular marathon races in Europe, for amateur riders and elite. With over 4000 starters, and a course that loops around the Sella group, it has been a World Series Marathon event, and in 2015 will be the Marathon World Championship. In 2014, the races were won by Elisabeth Brandau and Leonardo Paez.
